Creating a bright community

As a continuation of the “Goëd Gefoël” project, we discovered one of the oldest buildings in our small city that was in dire need of renovation.

As soon as we discovered that one of the oldest buildings in our small city that was in dire need of renovation, we decided to go for it. We believed it would be a wonderful idea to establish a place for visitors right in the heart of our city and connected it to the social enterprise “Stadsbrouwerij Sneek”. At the moment of writing, we have created two high standard appartments and one authentic food shop (De Proefkamer) where craftmanship, healthy food and the nautic experience of the city come together.

Like many adventures in life, we were unaware of the challenges ahead. We believed it would be a wonderful idea to establish a place for visitors right in the heart of our city. The upper floors serve as a bed and breakfast, while the ground floor is home to a pure, locally famous, nautic and italian delicatessen shop.
