As soon as we discovered that one of the oldest buildings in our small city that was in dire need of renovation, we decided to go for it. We believed it would be a wonderful idea to establish a place for visitors right in the heart of our city and connected it to the social enterprise "Stadsbrouwerij Sneek".

Mobile app delivery changed the way we could do business with the government. Together with a team (the App Competence Centers) we litterally created a disruptive bypass.

Platform Engineering avant la lettre. We created a educational gaming and development platform for the automatic generation of educative games for all High schools in The Netherlands. An exciting project that was a great learning experience into platform thinking.

If I'm not mistaking, this was the first Hotel search engine for in the Netherlands that contained all hotels available in the Netherlands. Owners could choose bronze, silver or gold which ranked their results. It got big right before Google dominated the search market, eventually acquired by hotels.nl.

With Toucanart we created one of the first global online e-commerce websites that sold oil-paintings all over the world. Production in China, shipping worldwide! Built and hosted the project from scratch using open source technology.
